Sharon Adams currently serves as Eastern Regional President at Nuvance Health, overseeing operations for Danbury, New Milford, and Sharon Hospitals, as well as Home Care, since June 2022. Prior to this role, Adams was President of Danbury and New Milford Hospitals at Western Connecticut Health Network from October 2015 to June 2022, notably leading key initiatives during the COVID pandemic. Adams has also held various leadership positions, including System Chief Operating Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, and Chief Quality Officer, focusing on quality improvements and financial turnarounds. Academically, Adams holds an MS in Health Care Administration from Bellevue University, an MA in Human Resources and Development from American International College, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Elms College.
