Ricardo Guimarães is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Nuvalence since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Software Engineer at TechMatch Softwares from 2020 to 2022, where they worked as a contractor to Nuvalence on projects focused on software modernization and cloud migration, utilizing Java, .NET Framework, Python, and Javascript (React applications). From 2010 to 2020, they were at Venki, where they held various roles including CTO, Full Stack Developer, BPM Developer, Tech Lead, Programmer, and Internship. In 2015, they were CTO and Co-Founder at HEFLO, a spinoff from Venki, where they developed high available, auto scalable, distributed, cloud native solutions to power a Business Process Management Platform. Ricardo worked on developing the Business Rule Engine, the Workflow Engine using REST API's, and implementing Message Queue Systems and State Management Systems. Ricardo also worked on a Observability framework, integrating with Data Dog, New Relic, and AWS cloud native observability tools.

Ricardo Guimarães obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science & Technology from Universidade Federal do ABC between 2010 and 2014. Ricardo also holds a Cloud Professional Architecture certification from Google, which they obtained in October 2020.
