Maksim Shylau has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Maksim started their career at AROBOT as a Web Developer from December 2016 to April 2017. Maksim then worked at Itransition Group as a Ruby On Rails Developer from August 2017 to November 2017. After that, they joined Twinslash as a Ruby On Rails Developer for a brief period from August 2018 to October 2018. Maksim then worked at Rubyroid Labs, where they held two roles simultaneously: Ruby On Rails Developer from October 2018 to March 2021, and later promoted as a Tech Lead from September 2020 to March 2021. Maksim then joined Akveo as a Software Engineer from March 2021 to February 2022. Currently, they are working at Nutrisense, where they started as a Software Engineer from February 2022 and is now serving as a Staff Engineer since January 2023.

Maksim Shylau pursued their education at Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Software Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Maksim has also earned certifications in the field of cloud computing. Maksim obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2021, and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in September 2021.
