Shurland Balliram is an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in maintenance execution and reliability engineering. Currently serving as Engineer I in the Maintenance Execution division at Nutrien since March 2021, prior roles include Engineer In Training and Junior Mechanical Engineer at the same company. Shurland's experience encompasses positions as a Junior Mechanical Engineer at Balanced Engineering and Construction Management Ltd. and as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Nutrien, alongside internships in mechanical engineering at Tiger Tanks Trinidad Unlimited and Penal Debe Regional Corporation. Shurland holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Asset Management with a focus on Reliability Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honours, both from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.
