Martin Botha has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Martin is currently a Board Member at FERTASA, a position they have held since November 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director at Nutrico SA starting from April 2004. Before joining Nutrico SA, they were the Chief Executive Officer at In Line Group from July 2003. Martin's career began at SGS in July 1996, where they worked as the Division Manager until July 2002.

Martin Botha obtained a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit. In 2014, they also received the certification of Pr. Sci. Nat. from the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP).
