Pia Lintala Westerdahl has a varied work experience spanning multiple industries. Pia started their career in 1995 as a Product and Order Manager at Iltex Broderistuga, where they were responsible for manufacturing and selling embroidery kits via various channels. Pia also managed the production of magazines with embroidery patterns.

In 2008, Pia joined Cast Medical as an Administrator, handling order processing, customer invoicing, inventory management, and quality control. Pia also provided customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions. Pia worked in this role until 2012.
