Kerith Asma is an experienced educator currently serving as a High School English Teacher at Back of the Yards College Prep High School since September 2017, and as a Tutor with Nurturing Wisdom Tutoring since July 2014. Kerith has a diverse background that includes roles as a Reading Specialist at Butler College Prep, a Community Manager for the University of Chicago's online learning platform, and a Student Teacher at The Chicago High School for the Arts. Educational qualifications include a Master of Teaching in Secondary Education from National Louis University, a Master of Arts in Humanities from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Honors English from the University of Michigan. Kerith also has experience mentoring students, developing curricula, and providing individualized academic support across various educational settings.
