Afton Hornbuckle currently serves as the External Affairs Manager and Philanthropy Writer at Nurse-Family Partnership since July 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Program Officer and Program Manager at Tulane University from January 2016 to September 2017. Afton has also worked as a Research Analyst for the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources from March 2014 to March 2015, and as a Research Analyst, Policy Correspondent/Legislative Aide, and Assistant Scheduler in the United States Senate from January 2012 to March 2014. Afton Hornbuckle holds a B.A. in Economics and American Studies from the University of Virginia, obtained from 2007 to 2011.
