Cristiana Maglia is a Senior Research Fellow at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) since September 2020, with a rich academic and professional background in political science and international relations. Previously, Cristiana served as a researcher at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul from March 2016 to August 2020, and held a position as a Visiting Doctoral Student at the University of Oxford’s Latin American Centre from October 2018 to March 2019. Early in the career, Cristiana worked as an Assistente de comunicação at the Centro de Estudos Internacionais sobre Governo (CEGOV) from May 2014 to May 2016. Cristiana holds a PhD in Political Science, a Master's degree in Political Science, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, along with an academic exchange experience at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
