Pete Clausen is an accomplished biotechnology professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the industry. Currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Nuo Therapeutics, Inc. since May 2016, Pete Clausen has a solid background that includes a tenure as the Chief Science Officer at Nuo Therapeutics starting in March 2014. Prior to this, Pete Clausen held the position of Senior Vice President of Technology and Business Development at Cytomedix from June 2008 to March 2014. Additional experience includes roles as Vice President of Research and Development at Marligen Biosciences Inc., Manager of Purification Technologies at InVitrogen Corp, Staff Scientist at ProNeuron Inc., and Fellow at the National Cancer Institute. Pete Clausen earned a PhD in Biochemistry from Rush Medical College of Rush University Medical Center.
