Ron Sun has worked in various software engineering roles since 2010. Ron started as a software engineer intern at Intel in 2010 before interning as a software engineer in test at Google in 2011. In 2012, they became a software engineer at Palantir Technologies, where they were responsible for leading the team for a demo and compute platform, developing widgets for a WYSIWYG no-code app builder, and building a YubiKey management and access control application on top of Azure Identity Governance. Ron worked in this role until April 2023. From May 2023, they will be working as an engineering manager at Nuna Inc.

From 2008 to 2012, Ron Sun attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
