Rizen Yamauchi has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 as a Web Programmer/Manager at IB Answers. In 2012, they took on the role of Community Outreach Manager for the Garbage Management Program for Kathmandu. That same year, they also worked as a Web Developer/Digital Marketing for the Ritsumeikan Uji Junior and Senior High School - International Students Forum. In 2013, they were Lead Web Developer at CyberSpark and in 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer Internship at Stylebar. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at San Jose State University as a Data Mining Research Assistant and Electrical Engineer Lab Instructor. Since 2021, they have been a Data Engineer at Nuna Inc.

Rizen Yamauchi attended San Jose State University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics. Prior to this, they attended Ritsumeikan Uji Junior and Senior High School from 2010 to 2013, where they earned an International Baccalaureate focused on Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.
