James Parkin has worked in a variety of medical roles since 2018. James began as a Medical Doctor at Northwick Park & St Marks Hospital in 2018 and then moved to Charing Cross Hospital in 2019. In 2020, they took on two roles as a Medical Doctor at Luton & Dunstable Hospital NHS Trust and as a Clinical Data Lead and Resident Medical Officer at Harley Street Specialist Hospital. James was also an Emergency Physician at Wexham Park Hospital in 2020. In 2021, they worked as a General Internal Medicine Physician at NHS and a Data Scientist at Numerai. Currently, they are a Radiology Registrar at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and a Respiratory SHO at Basildon & Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

James Parkin completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery - MBBS at St George's, University of London (for students and alumni) from 2013 to 2018. James then pursued a MRCS at Imperial College London from 2018 to 2019. James is currently completing a Master's degree in Public Health at Imperial College London, which they began in 2020 and will finish in 2021.
