Marco Alejandro has over a decade of experience in housing assignments and marriage and family therapy. Since January 2010, Marco has served as the Assistant Director of Housing Assignments at Santa Clara University. In addition, Marco has held positions as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Nugent Family Counseling Center and Affirming Relationship Therapy since February 2024 and August 2021, respectively. Previously, Marco worked as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley from August 2016 to June 2023, and as Operations and Special Assignments Manager at Santa Clara University from February 2000 to February 2007. Marco holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Latino Psychology, obtained from Santa Clara University between 2014 and 2017, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History from the same institution, completed in 2010.
