Leonardo Caputo, MBA, currently serves as Energy Project Manager at Nucor Corporation, focusing on establishing strategic partnerships for sustainable energy development. Previously, Caputo held the position of Technical Client Services General Manager at Vale, where responsibilities included business project development related to the decarbonization of the steel industry and management of Vale affiliates. As CEO of Tecnored Desenvolvimento Tecnológico S.A., oversight encompassed significant asset management and corporate governance enhancement. Caputo's extensive experience at Vale also includes roles as Metallics Engineering General Manager and Engineering Project Manager, managing large-scale capital projects and budgets. Before joining Vale, Caputo's career included engineering positions at ArcelorMittal Tubarao and EPC Engenharia, and foundational work as a Piping Design Engineer and Project Analyst. Caputo holds multiple degrees, including an MBA in Finance and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
