Sofia Guerra is a seasoned professional in healthcare and biotech investments, currently serving as Vice President at Bessemer Venture Partners since July 2021. In addition to this role, Sofia is a Co-Founder and Board Member of Nucleate, where a focus on fostering future bioentrepreneurs has been central, including a tenure as National Co-President. Previous experience includes investments in early-stage healthcare and life sciences at BoxGroup and a Venture Fellow position at Rough Draft Ventures. Prior roles encompass consulting at Bain & Company and research positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Business School. Sofia holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with High Honors from Harvard University, complemented by an International Baccalaureate from UWC South East Asia.
