Shaohui Yu is a skilled scientist currently employed at NuChem Sciences since May 2022, with a strong background in organic chemistry and organometallics. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta from June 2015 to April 2022, and as a Research Scientist at ChemRoutes from September 2013 to June 2015, where Shaohui Yu focused on customized synthesis, route scouting, and process development. Shaohui Yu holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry/Organometallics from the University of Alberta (2007-2013) and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biology and Chemistry from Wilfrid Laurier University (2004-2007). Specialization includes the synthesis of heterocyclic and polycyclic molecules, such as macrocycles and spirocyclic systems with heteroatoms.
