Afran Groenewoud is an accomplished journalist and project manager with extensive experience in societal and political reporting, content production, and children's literature. Currently serving as a reporter for NU.nl, Afran also provides advisory and project management services at CIBZ while contributing to Veiligheidsregio Noord-Holland Noord as an editor. As an accomplished author of children's books and a workshop leader with De Schrijverscentrale, Afran actively engages in promoting literacy. Additionally, Afran played a key role in founding the political commentary contest, Politieke Junkies, and held leadership positions in various organizations, including as the general director of Koekepeer. Educated at the University of Amsterdam and trained in project management, Afran brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to diverse fields.
