Alex Monteiro is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across prominent companies. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at NTS - Nova Transportadora do Sudeste since August 2021, Alex previously held the position of Director of Corporate Finance at Neoenergia from September 2016 to August 2021, where responsibilities included managing treasury for all group companies. Alex's prior tenure at Vale spanned two decades, culminating in roles such as VP of Production Planning and Business Effectiveness and Mergers and Acquisitions Director. Alex has demonstrated expertise in financial governance, strategic planning, and operational improvements, supported by a strong educational background in business management and economics from prestigious institutions including IMD, MIT Sloan School of Management, and FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
