Lincoln Lawler is an accomplished planning professional with extensive experience in statutory planning, heritage, and sustainability. Currently serving as the Director of Statutory Planning and Heritage at the NSW Department of Education since July 2019, Lincoln has previously held various roles, including Director of Statutory Planning and Sustainability, Manager of Statutory Planning, and Principal Development Planner. Prior experience at Bayside Council includes senior roles in development assessment and team coordination, handling large-scale projects and complex applications with strong communication skills. Lincoln's background also includes significant contributions at Gosford Council and Harrison Grierson Consultants Ltd, as well as expertise in preparing Environmental Impact Statements and assessments of environmental effects. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Urban Design from Oxford Brookes University and a Master’s in Planning Practice from The University of Auckland.
