Matt Easdown serves as Chief Financial Officer at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, leading the Finance & Procurement team since February 2024. With a comprehensive background in financial leadership, Matt previously held the CFO position at Diabetes Australia and served as Director of Business Services at St Joseph's College Hunters Hill. Experience also includes roles as Vice Chancellor of Finance & Administration at the University of Sharjah, CFO at the University of Canberra, and Finance Director at EY. Educational credentials include executive education from MIT Sloan School of Management, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand certification, and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from the University of Technology Sydney. Additionally, Matt has held various advisory and directorship roles in higher education governance.
