Herbert Chang is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in virtualization solutions and system architecture. Currently serving as the VDI Architect Principal at Georgia Institute of Technology since December 2016, Herbert collaborates with various colleges to design and implement virtualization solutions while ensuring compliance with institutional requirements. Herbert is also the owner of NS Solutions, Inc., providing independent consulting services that include managing a team to support customer infrastructure and application deployment. Previous roles include Senior Engineer at Timewarner EIS, overseeing a high-availability Citrix Xenapp and VMware View farm, and Senior Client Systems Engineer at Turner Broadcasting, where responsibilities included managing global infrastructure and implementing virtualization technologies. Herbert holds an Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems and has a diverse background in IT roles, including Director of IT and Network Architect positions.
