Mike Castle has extensive experience in the rugby league sector, currently serving as Pathways Project Manager at National Rugby League since June 2008, with previous roles including Project Manager for Community Rugby League & Workforce Development and Participation Strategy Coordinator. Additionally, Mike holds the position of Canada Ravens Head Coach for Rugby League World Cup 2021 since November 2019. Prior to these roles, Mike worked as a Personal Trainer at Virgin Active from 2005 to March 2008 and as a Player & Development Officer for London Skolars Rugby League from January 2004 to February 2008, following an early career as an Academy Player with London Broncos RL from 2001 to 2003.
