Md Rakibul Islam Roni serves as the GIS Manager at NRECA International since May 2018, where key contributions include the development of a geospatial electrification platform that aids national electrification strategies and grid expansion efforts. Previously, Roni held the position of GIS Specialist at NRECA International, and holds a Bachelor in Urban and Rural Planning from Khulna University and a Master of Science in GIS for Environment and Development from Jahangirnagar University. Roni's experience includes significant involvement in managing GIS information for the Northern Electricity Supply Company in Bangladesh, where extensive electric lines were mapped and analyzed.
