Rhaina Cohen

Producer/editor, Enterprise Storytelling Unit at NPR

Rhaina Cohen is an accomplished producer and editor with extensive experience in podcasting and storytelling. Currently serving as a Producer/Editor in the Enterprise Storytelling Unit at NPR since September 2016, Cohen produces and edits the podcast Embedded and has worked on various popular series including Rough Translation and Invisibilia. Prior to this role, Cohen held positions such as Associate Producer for Hidden Brain, where responsibilities included scriptwriting and mixing, as well as serving as a liaison between producers and the host. With a strong background in writing and research, Cohen's freelance work includes writing for notable publications like The Atlantic and The Washington Post, and providing research assistance for several books. Educational qualifications include a Master of Philosophy in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Northwestern University.
