Nathan Rott

Reporter - National Desk at NPR

Nathan Rott is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in reporting and production. Currently serving as a Reporter for the National Desk at NPR since October 2014, Nathan Rott has previously contributed to NPR in a similar capacity from May 2013 to April 2014 and has worked as a Freelance Journalist from September 2012 to October 2014. Earlier roles include a General Assistant for Operations at Raytheon Polar Services, a Production Assistant at NPR’s Investigations Unit, and a Stone and Holt Weeks Fellow at The Washington Post, where coverage focused on homelessness in Washington D.C. Nathan Rott began a career in journalism after earning a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Anthropology from the University of Montana in 2009. Prior to this, Nathan Rott gained hands-on experience as a deckhand on a fishing boat in Alaska.
