Jia Min Huang has work experience in various roles and companies. They started their career at McGill University as a Master Thesis Student from August 2019 to September 2021. Afterwards, they worked at CellCarta as a Lead Scientist/ Research Assistant I from September 2021 to August 2022. Currently, Jia Min is employed at Nomic Bio, where they first served as a Lab Operations Analyst from August 2022 to May 2023, and then transitioned into their role as a Product Associate in May 2023.

Jia Min Huang completed a Master's degree in Experimental Surgery at McGill University from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Immunology from McGill University, where they studied from 2016 to 2019. Jia Min also has a DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Health Science, obtained from Marianopolis College from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a WHMIS certificate from McGill University in September 2019.
