Juultje Sommers is a highly experienced physiotherapist and researcher, currently serving as a Fysiotherapeut- Onderzoeker at Erasmus MC since January 2024. With a strong background in clinical physiotherapy, Juultje has worked as a Cursuscoördinator and docent at NPi since 2015 and has held various roles at Amsterdam UMC, including Fysiotherapeut, PhD researcher, and project leader in intensive care. Juultje's PhD focused on early intervention implementation in the ICU and the development of an evidence statement for physiotherapy in this setting. Previous experience includes governance with NVZF and clinical roles at OLVG and AMC. Juultje holds a Doctorate from the University of Amsterdam, a Master's degree from KU Leuven, and a Bachelor's degree from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
