Adel Al Shishani has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. Adel is currently working as a Solution Delivery and Projects Engineer at Nozomi Networks since April 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Symantec as a Principal Professional Services Consultant from October 2016 to April 2019, where they were responsible for technical management and project delivery/implementation of various Symantec security solutions.

Before joining Symantec, Adel worked at StarLink - Trusted Security Advisor, starting as a Senior Presales Consultant from January 2015 to June 2016. Adel then took on the role of Regional Professional Services Manager from June 2016 to September 2016, where they developed and managed professional service activities across all regions. From April 2013 to December 2014, they were the Manager for the Information Security Protection unit, where they handled product management and sales pipeline development for various IT security solutions.

Adel's earlier roles at StarLink include Senior Professional Services Consultant from April 2012 to April 2013, where they focused on network vulnerability assessment and data classification projects, and Senior Professional Services Consultant from April 2011 to April 2012, where they implemented and consulted on database activity monitoring, privileged user access control, and data centric DLP solutions.

Prior to their time at StarLink, Adel worked at the Cisco Technical Assistance Center as a Network Security and Application Networking Support Engineer from March 2010 to April 2011. Adel provided support for Cisco security devices and firewalls, as well as application networking devices such as load balancers.

Adel began their career as a Web Admin at Nizah Web Business solutions from April 2009 to August 2009, where they provided web administration for a website in its early stages of implementation.

Adel Al Shishani obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Al Jami'at Al-Hashimiyyah, which they attended from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Adel also holds a certification as a Nozomi Networks Certified Engineer, which they obtained from Nozomi Networks in December 2022.
