Hugo A. Gómez has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Hugo A. started their career at Vision-Ingenieria as a Project Engineer, where they managed technical resources and improved service processes. After that, they joined FSL as an Information Technology Project Coordinator, where they developed a JEE website and ensured alignment of project scope with schedules and quality plans.

Hugo then moved on to Indra Colombia Ltda, where they served as a Project Engineer and was responsible for providing software maintenance services. Hugo A. developed work breakdown structures and estimated activity durations using expert judgment.

Next, Hugo joined 4SIGTH TECH as a Project Engineer and Technical Leader. Hugo A. participated in technical meetings to define project scope and executed action plans and testing plans.

Following their role at 4SIGTH TECH, Hugo worked at CSi Group as a Project Engineer, where they led migration projects and ensured quality using testing plans.

In 2018, Hugo joined ACH COLOMBIA S.A as a Technical Project Manager and Demand Management Manager. Hugo A. planned and tested business needs through the software factory, implemented agile development approaches, and acted as a scrum master.

Currently, Hugo is working at NovoPayment as an Engineering Manager.

Hugo A. Gómez obtained their Systems Engineering degree from Universidad Industrial de Santander from 1999 to 2006. Hugo A. later pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad de San Buenaventura, which they completed from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Hugo also obtained several certifications. Hugo A. became a Certified Big Data Professional and a Certified Big Data Science Professional from Arcitura Education Inc. in August 2021. Hugo also obtained certifications such as Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) from CertMind in July 2019 and TOGAF I from The Open Group in November 2017. Hugo A. is also a certified Scrum Master (SMC) and holds an EFSET English Certificate with a score of 65/100, indicating C1 Advanced proficiency. Hugo's certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is not dated.
