Phil Alessi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several decades. Phil'smost recent role was as the Catalyze Team Leader at Novo Mission starting in February 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Church Resource Ministries where they held multiple roles, including Disciple Making Movements Mentor, Communitas Team member, and Communitas leader from 2002 to 2023. At the Great Lakes District of the Evangelical Free Church, Phil served as the Church Planting Director from 1994 to 2001, overseeing the launch and development of nearly 100 new churches. Before that, they held the same position at the Midwest District of the Evangelical Free Church and was responsible for planting and developing 20 new congregations in Kansas and Nebraska from 1992 to 1994. Phil Alessi attended Atlantic Cape Community College from 1969 to 1971, earning an Associate of Science degree in Accounting. Phil then went on to study at Northeastern Bible College from 1971 to 1974, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Theology/Theological Studies. After that, they enrolled at California Graduate School of Theology from 1978 to 1980, specializing in Church Administration and receiving a degree in the same field. Finally, they attended Alliance Seminary from 1980 to 1991 to further their education in Administration, although no specific degree is mentioned.
