Rukshika Hewawasam is a Sr. Process Chemist at Corden Pharma, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Rukshika served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from September 2020 to January 2023, and as a PhD Candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Rhode Island from August 2016 to September 2020. Rukshika's academic journey includes a PhD in Chemistry from both the University of Rhode Island and the Postgraduate Institute of Science (PGIS), University of Peradeniya, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the College of Chemical Sciences, Institute of Chemistry Ceylon. Additional experience encompasses roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at PGIS and the Industrial Technology Institute Sri Lanka in 2012.
