Mariko Shimizu is currently the Vice President of the Obesity Business Unit at Novo Nordisk. Prior to this role, Mariko held various marketing positions at companies such as Danone, SABMiller, and Procter & Gamble. With a background in brand management and marketing, Mariko has experience overseeing marketing activities, innovations, and brand strategies across different regions and product categories. Mariko earned an MBA in Marketing and Operations Management from the University of Arizona.
