João Costa is a Data Scientist at novobanco since September 2022, previously serving as a Tech Analyst at Deloitte from September 2021 to August 2022, focusing on financial services strategy and analytics. At Deloitte, João was responsible for implementing ETL processes using Apache Hive and Airflow and conducting modeling and analysis of data from various sources. Prior to that, in 2021, João completed a master thesis at Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS, developing a deep learning-based mobile application for image segmentation and perspective correction as part of a vineyard plague prevention intelligent system. João holds a degree from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, with an Erasmus+ experience at Poznan University of Technology in the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications.
