Miro Venturi is the current Director at NOVIGENIX. Prior to this, they were the Senior Vice President & Head of Biopharma at Foundation Medicine, a company of the Roche Group. Miro has also served as the Division Head at Novartis Biologics and as the Group Head - Investigative Toxicology/ Analytical Biology at Nerviano Medical Sciences. Miro is also an Associate Professor at Universita Vita Salute San Raffaele.

Miro Venturi pursued a post-doctoral fellowship in vaccine design, structural biology, and molecular virology at the National Institutes of Health. Miro then went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy at the Max-Planck Institute for Biophysics. Miro's Ph.D. was in biochemistry and molecular biophysics from Goethe University. Finally, they completed their M.Sc. in biochemistry from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
