Haider Al-Turaihi has a diverse work experience in mechanical engineering and management roles. Haider is currently employed at Novelis as a Global Lead Mechanical Engineer and Global EMRA. Prior to that, they worked at Kaiser Aluminum as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from 2021 to 2022. Haider also worked at Alcoa from 2018 to 2021 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Before that, they served as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at AK Steel Corporation from 2014 to 2018. Haider Al-Turaihi also has experience as a Mechanical Engineer/Consultant and Designer from 2012 to 2014. Haider worked as a Design Engineer and Lecturer at the University of Al-Qadisiyah from 2010 to 2011. In addition, they held the position of Mechanical Engineer Manager at Al-Masar Company in 2010. Haider started their career as a Mechanical Engineer Manager of Training at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Bechtel International System Inc. from 2004 to 2007.

Haider Al-Turaihi completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Babylon University from 1999 to 2004. Haider then pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in CAD/CAM at L.D. College of Engineering, Gujarat University from 2007 to 2010.
