Hajer Abdelkafi currently serves as Site Director, Team Leader, and Project Manager in Organic Syntheses at NovAliX since April 2018, where the focus is on translating academic research into industrial applications. Prior experience includes roles as Research Scientist at CNRS and CEA, as well as a PhD Chemist at CNRS, specializing in the total synthesis of natural products. Hajer Abdelkafi has also conducted research at ETH Zurich and gained early experience as a Research Intern at Lipideon Biotechnology AG. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Pierre and Marie Curie University, a Master's thesis from ETH Zürich, and an engineering degree in Chemistry from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Mulhouse.
