Thaveesha Piyasiri is an Aerospace Engineer currently employed at Nova Systems Australia and New Zealand since December 2021, having previously served as a Graduate Engineer. Thaveesha's experience includes a casual academic role at UNSW, where assistance was provided in delivering course content for mechanical and manufacturing engineering, and an engineering internship at Regional Express. Prior work also encompasses responsibilities as a Sales Team Member at Woolworths Supermarkets, a receptionist at Warrane College, and leadership roles in student organizations including Marketing Director for the AIAA UNSW Student Branch. Thaveesha holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from UNSW and completed the Higher School Certificate at Kooringal High School.
