Ken Poort, CIP, ACS has over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. Ken currently works as a Business Development Manager at Nova Mutual Insurance Company since March 2023. Previously, Ken worked as a Senior Commercial Underwriter at Middlesex Mutual Insurance Co. from September 2018 to March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Commercial Lines Underwriter at Gore Mutual Insurance from July 2016 to September 2018. Ken began their career as an Associate Insurance Advisor II at The Co-operators from April 2013 to July 2016.

Ken Poort, CIP, ACS has a strong educational background in the field of insurance. In 2013, they obtained an Insurance Diploma from Mohawk College, which further provided him with a solid foundation in insurance knowledge. Following this, Ken pursued higher certification and obtained a Chartered Insurance Professional degree from the Insurance Institute of Canada in 2016.
