Marcie Kiziak, B. Mgt., FCPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Marcie is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Nova Cannabis Inc., a role they took on in March 2022 after working as the Chief Operating Officer since March 2021. From January 2020 to March 2022, Marcie was the President of NOVA Cannabis at ALCANNA. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Human Resources at ALCANNA from February 2018 to January 2020. Marcie also worked as a Human Resources Consultant at Compass Management Consulting from July 2017 to February 2018. Marcie has held leadership positions at Corrosion & Abrasion Solutions Ltd. (CASL) as the VP of People & Safety from March 2013 to July 2017, and as the Operations Manager (Interim) from April 2015 to November 2015. Marcie's career also includes roles at Flint Energy Services, where they served as the Human Resources Manager - Integration East Region from December 2010 to February 2013, a Senior Human Resources Advisor from December 2004 to December 2010, and a Manager of Business Services (secondment) from January 2009 to August 2009. Marcie was the President of the Human Resources Management Association of Edmonton (HRMAE) from August 2011 to August 2012, and the Vice President from October 2009 to August 2011. Marcie started their career as a Human Resources Information Analyst at Acrodex in 2004.

Marcie Kiziak holds a Bachelor of Management degree with a focus on Management & HR from The University of Lethbridge, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. Marcie also completed a Human Resources Management program at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) from 2004 to 2005. In 2012, they pursued a Project Management Certification at NAIT and also completed a Change Management program at the Project Management Institute-Prosci. Additionally, they attained a General Management Management diploma from NAIT from 2000 to 2003. Marcie Kiziak has also obtained certifications in Not-For-Profit Governance Essentials from the Institute of Corporate Directors in 2017 and as a Certified Human Behaviour Consultant - DISC from Personality Insights Inc in 2016.
