Jean Goyette has extensive experience in chemical engineering and management, currently serving as Manager of the Bleaching Chemicals Technology Team at Nouryon since October 2018, leading initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of industry facilities. Goyette has also held site manager positions at AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals since August 2012 and Akzonobel Pulp and Performance SAS since September 2012, overseeing operations for a Sodium Chlorate plant and Wet Strength plant with an operating budget exceeding $50 million. Prior experience includes serving as Plant Manager at Eka Chimie from July 2000 to August 2012, where Goyette managed an operating budget of over $80 million and focused on energy efficiency and safety programs. Earlier roles included production supervision and technical management at Eka Chemicals and engineering positions at Alby Chlorate. Goyette holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Université de Sherbrooke and completed an Impact degree at INSEAD in 2012.
