Sheri Scott is a highly experienced biomedical scientist with 21 years in clinical biochemistry, currently serving as Chief External Examiner at Coventry University and External Examiner at the University of Sunderland. Sheri also holds the position of Senior Lecturer and programme lead at Nottingham Trent University since January 2018. Additional roles include a recent internship as a Science Journalist at the Financial Times and previous positions as Senior Biomedical Scientist at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and Training Lead at Royal Derby Hospital. An HCPC registered professional, Sheri is a chartered scientist and fellow of the IBMS, actively participating in expert panels and examinations. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Biomedical Science (Clinical Chemistry), a PGC in Academic Practice, and a PgCert in Teaching, Training and Assessment for Health and Social Care Professionals.
