Elias Nassar has extensive experience in academia and professional organizations, serving as a Professor and Chairperson of the Electrical, Computer and Communications Department at Notre Dame University - Louaize since January 1998. Additionally, Elias Nassar has held the position of ABET IDEAL Scholar and Program Evaluator since January 2010 and worked as a Visiting Professor at Texas A&M University from August 2013 to August 2014. From 2005 to 2013, Elias Nassar was actively involved with IEEE, holding multiple chairperson roles, including for the IEEE Lebanon Section and the IEEE Society Chapter on Antennas and Propagation, Microwave Theory and Techniques, and Magnetics. Elias Nassar also served as Dean at Notre Dame University from 2006 to 2012 and worked as a Graduate Research Associate at Ohio State University from August 1990 to December 1997. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University earned between 1991 and 1997, and a Bachelor of Engineering from the American University of Beirut obtained between 1985 and 1989.
