Shaswati Mukherjee has held various roles in the past 16 years, beginning with Manager-Admin at H.P. Institute of Insurance in 2004. Shaswati then moved to BIRLA SUNLIFE INSURANCE in 2008 as a Recruitment & Training Co-ordinator. In 2012, they joined NIIT Technologies Limited as an Institutional Alliance Co-ordinator. In 2018, they became Center Manager at Orion Edutech Pvt. Ltd., and most recently, in 2020, they were appointed as Customer Service Manager at Notesgen.

Shaswati Mukherjee's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Zoology/Animal Biology from Shillong,St. Mary's from 1991 to 1994, a Higher Diploma in Software Engineering from Aptech Computer Education, and a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Human Resources Management and Services from national Institute of Business management(NIBM).
