Martin Gudgeon is a Partner and the Chairman of the EMEA & Asia Restructuring & Special Situations Group at PJT Partners, a position held since 2015. They previously served as a Senior Managing Director and Head of EMEA Restructuring Advisory at Blackstone from 2007 to 2015. Gudgeon held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Close Brothers Corporate Finance from 1998 to 2007 and was a Non-Executive Director at Genel Energy PLC from 2017 to 2021. Their career began with positions at PwC, Hoare Lea, Hill Samuel, and Macquarie Group, accumulating extensive experience in corporate finance and restructuring. Currently, Gudgeon is also a Non-Executive Director at Nostrum Oil & Gas.
