Mark Atta-Danso is an experienced metallurgy professional with a robust background in process management and technical leadership within the mining industry. Currently serving as Metallurgy Superintendent at Norton Gold Fields Pty Ltd since October 2024, Mark previously held roles such as Processing Manager at Karora Resources and Senior Metallurgist at Northern Star Resources Limited. With significant expertise developed through positions at Westgold Resources, Saracen Gold Mines Pty Ltd, Fortescue Metals Group, and CITIC Pacific Mining, Mark has a proven track record in optimizing production processes, improving recovery rates, and achieving safety and environmental benchmarks. Mark holds an Executive Education degree in Advanced Management from The University of Western Australia, an MBA, a Master’s in Mineral Economics, and a Bachelor's in Mineral Engineering.
