Jaclyn McDonald has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Community Relations Intern at United Water, where they were responsible for writing and distributing letters and website material, planning events for students, and assisting in creative development of reports. From 2008 to 2009, Jaclyn served as an Employee Communications Intern at the American Cancer Society.
In 2009, Jaclyn joined Boulder County CareConnect as a Communications Manager, where they oversaw various responsibilities such as managing communications, executing special events, and participating in marketing and outreach activities. Jaclyn also served as an AmeriCorps Vista Development Coordinator at the same organization during the period of 2009 to 2010, focusing on researching funding opportunities, writing grant proposals, and engaging in marketing and outreach initiatives.
In 2011, Jaclyn took on a significant role as an Associate Director at the American Diabetes Association. Over the course of five years, they held different positions within the organization including Region Director, Associate Director, Territory Director, and eventually Director of Field Marketing. In these roles, Jaclyn was responsible for driving the development and execution of marketing and communication strategies. Jaclyn served as a liaison between the national Marketing Department and Field staff, created content for organizational materials, and collaborated with Field staff to implement comprehensive communication efforts for events and programs.
Most recently, Jaclyn worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Northwest Colorado Health starting in 2019, focusing on marketing coordination.
Jaclyn McDonald attended Marquette University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their degree focused on Public Relations and Writing Intensive English.
