Rens Duysens is an experienced process operator currently employed at Northvolt since October 2022, focusing on cathode notching and process optimization in the control room. Prior experience includes a role at ARLANXEO in polymerization for EPDM rubber production and an interim shift manager position at Avantium, where responsibilities included overseeing operations at a pilot plant. At Avantium, Rens also served as a control room operator and process operator, contributing to commissioning and scale-up of purification and hydrogenation processes. Earlier career experience includes a process operator role at SABIC and internships at PQ Corporation and during VAPRO C studies, which provided foundational knowledge in the chemical industry. Rens holds a VAPRO C engineering degree completed in 2016.
