Andrew Clakeley currently serves as Senior Manager of Safety Engineering at Northvolt, starting in November 2023. Prior to this role, Andrew held several significant positions at Rivian, including Sr. Manager of Cell Safety Engineering and Sr. Manager of Battery Safety Engineering & Factory Integration from August 2021 to November 2023. Andrew's experience at Tesla from November 2016 to July 2021 encompassed roles such as Environment, Health and Safety Manager, Associate EHS Manager, and Environmental Engineer. Previously, Andrew worked at Lockheed Martin as an Environment, Safety and Health Engineer, focusing on air quality management and pollution prevention. Additional experience includes roles at Banana Republic and General Motors as a Water Quality Specialist. Andrew holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sustainability, Health and Safety and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Environmental Management Systems from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
