Darrell Mast currently serves as Municipal Solicitor for Northumberland County, a position held since May 2022. Previously, Darrell was a Senior Associate in the Municipal Law Group at Templeman LLP from February 2021 to April 2022 and served as Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Cambridge Ontario from August 2019 to February 2021. Between January 2013 and August 2019, Darrell worked as Associate Solicitor for the City of Guelph, and prior to that, spent nearly three years as an Associate specializing in Municipal and Planning Law at Soloway Wright LLP. Darrell began the professional legal career as an Articling Student and Legislative Assistant at the Senate of Canada from August 2001 to September 2007. Educationally, Darrell holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Common Law from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Political Science and Mass Communications from Carleton University.
